Paper & Chain was born out of listening to the needs of the media and entertainment industry. We heard their problems and wanted to offer simple solutions. 

FOUNDER - MELISSA FISH

With city law firm training and pedigree (Baker & MacKenzie, Fieldfisher LLP) together with in-house experience at Discovery Channel and Warner Bros under her belt, Melissa has over 10 years’ experience as a lawyer in the media and entertainment sector. She has vast experience advising on and negotiating agreements relating to the development, finance, production, exploitation and acquisition of audiovisual content across all media platforms. She has been recommended by Legal 500, particularly in relation to her life story rights expertise. In helping her clients achieve their goal of progressing content from concept to audience, she has collaborated with content creators, independent production companies, broadcasters, sales agents, financiers, studios and distributors at both an international and domestic level.

Melissa is a member of the Global Blockchain Entertainment Alliance and is a proud supporter of the Times Up movement.

All of our consultants are senior experts in their chosen field with 8+ years experience in an in-house legal team or a law firm. The majority of our team are ex-partners in private practice or come from head of legal or GC positions.
